Minute by minute: how does the visit go?
Choice of size
Four box sizes and a numbered custody formula are offered; their dimensions are listed on the official page.
Reading and signing the contract
The rental contract is self-sufficient, with no file to build. Take the time to read it: yearly term, advance payment, termination by registered letter with ten days' notice.
Advance payment
Payment is settled up front: in cash within the legal limits or by bank transfer, for one year or more. If you pay by transfer, the key handover and the opening of the box wait until the funds are credited.
Access handover
You receive your access card and your key, then compose your personal code out of sight. Access to the box is immediate.
First deposit in the privacy booth
Inside the vault itself, the privacy booth, out of camera sight, lets you handle and store your valuables without a witness.

When does the box become usable?
Access to the box is immediate once the contract is signed and payment made: you leave the first visit with an operational box. One exception is set by the contract: if you pay by transfer, the key handover and the opening of the box wait until the funds are credited.
After that, the renter accesses the box alone, with the access card, the key and the personal code, during the opening hours repeated in the page footer. One month before the yearly due date, a renewal invitation arrives: renewal is done remotely, by email and transfer, or on site at the agency.

What your box contains concerns only you and, if you appointed one, your proxy: Gold & Silver Company does not know it, by design. The personal code is composed out of sight, and the privacy booth, out of camera sight, lets you handle your valuables without a witness, from the very first visit.

How do you plan the journey from France?
From central Lille, allow about 30 minutes by car, 28 km, route estimate; Roubaix is about 15 minutes away and Tourcoing about 20.

Short answers about the first visit
How long should you plan on site?
Opening the contract takes three steps: choosing the box size, showing a valid identity document and signing the rental contract. Twenty to thirty minutes are enough to leave with the key and the access card.
Do you need to book before coming?
The request is made at the agency, by phone or through the form on the official page. On site, everything comes down to three moves: you choose the box size, you show your valid identity document, you sign the contract. Allow twenty to thirty minutes at the counter, and you leave with your key and access card in hand. Once the contract is signed, access to the box is free during opening hours, with no appointment.
Can you deposit valuables on that very first visit?

Is the first visit possible on a Saturday?
Yes: Saturday is one of the opening days, from 10:00 to 13:00. On other days, the welcome runs on Monday and Friday from 10:00 to 13:00, and Tuesday to Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00 then 13:30 to 17:00.
